2.Strict standard of manual picking
There are ten rules for picking white tea.
1.no picking before the dew dries in the morning,
2.no picking in rainy days,
3.no purple buds,
4.no thin buds,
5.no wind-injured buds,
6.no already opened buds,
7.no man-made damaged buds
8.no moth-eaten buds
9.no hollow buds
10.no diseased and bent buds
3.Short picking time
The unfurled buds are only harvested in spring, around the mid-March, and must be picked in 10 days.
4.Low yield
About 30,000 buds can only made out 0.5kg finished qualified silver needle. The yield is very small.
5. High collection value
The collection value of white tea comes from the transformation of tea buds. High-quality raw materials, excellent production process, and proper storage are all essential.
During the storage of white tea, the Polyphenol substances are transformed, which promotes the form of flavonoids. So for white tea, more longer stored, more flavonoids, more obvious health-care effect to human body.
